Randy Boyett

Randy Boyett has been the pastor of Thompson Road Baptist Church in Slidell, Louisiana for the past 18 years. He currently serves as Assistant Moderator for Northshore Baptist Association of Baptist churches. Randy also holds a position on the Executive Board for the Louisiana Baptist Convention. His passion is serving the Lord through ministry and discipleship. He is an avid hiker and enjoys spending time in God’s great creation.

Randy received a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry at Level College in New Orleans in 2001 and a MDIV in Expository Preaching in 2013. He has been involved with Courtside Ministry since 2022. The blessing of his life was when his wife said yes to marriage, 46 years ago. His wife is a retired elementary educator and they have been blessed with two children, a son named Nathan Boyett who is a team leader in social services in Portland, Oregon. The couple also have a daughter who lives in the Slidell area and serves as an elementary school teacher. Randy is quick to tell anyone that Courtside ministries is undoubtedly one of the largest blessings in his life.
